1969 Suzuki TC120

Here's a little blast from the past that I picked up as a non-runner. A lot of the original bits were missing, and had been replaced with some old skool dirt bike bits sometime in the distant past, e.g. pressed steel brake levers, off-road pegs. These bikes are little crackers, with 3 gears at the foot lever, and a separate foot-operated toggle that lets you choose high- or low-range -- giving you six speeds all together. Let me tell you, low-range in 1st gear is like riding a 2-wheeled tractor!

Fixed this up to the condition you see here. Lots of stuff done inc. getting the gear box(es) functioning again, popping on some old Kwack expansion chamber (previous 'exhaust' was just a straight-through bit of pipe, eek), new(ish) tyres, new chain & sprockets, muffler with extra baffles for stealth mode (OK, it's all relative to a Stuka pulling a vertical dive), fork seals, carbie reconditioned, fab'd up an oil tank, new cables, etc. Also fitted a small digital tach that picked up the signal from the spark plug lead. Sold it in 2021 to a bloke who, having an addiction to Suzuki 2-strokes, bought my GP125 as well.

This sum of money then paid for some crown work on the wife's molars. That's right, two entire pieces of classic Suzuki 2-stroke iron got converted into a couple of tiny bits of metal for my good lady's chompers. I have the vague feeling that I got diddled somewhere...
